The image in a dielectric ball I
The image method is used to calculate the electric potential (and field) of an axis-symmetric charge density in the presence of a a dielectric ball. A solution is obtained for the image charge-densities. For the special case that the original charge is a point charge, this solution is expressed in a more explicit form.
